Plaza Roberto Maestas – Stage/Canopy

Mr. Glenn is the Design Architect for the Kiosko Stage and Canopy addition to the Roberto Maestas Plaza. The Kiosko represents the heart of the community, where cultural diversity is celebrated. The Stage /Canopy is cantilevered and supported by two columns, each showcasing a unique tile mural representing the Asian, Native American, African American and Latino communities.  The Kiosko provides the local community with a performance space for multi-cultural events and nicely integrates the historical building of El Centro de la Raza with the newer plaza Roberto Maestas affordable housing project.
