Laila S. Montenegro, Architectural Designer + Interior Designer

Laila Montenegro is a multi-cultural, Polish American-Iroquois and Nicaraguan (Miskito) intern architect. She completed her Masters of Architecture thesis in 2017, which focused on Sustainable Architecture, Urban Planning, cultural and environmental preservation. Her design methodology focuses on incorporating sustainable innovative design practices into every project. Her interest in Architecture stems from a passion for world travel, art history and cultural diversity. Laila has extensive knowledge in Marketing, Interior Design, Design-Build residential and commercial projects, and is currently building experience in Native American Architecture. She has volunteered in several grassroots projects in the Philippines, Israel, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Canada and several states across the United States, which encourage local community collaboration and social empowerment programs.
